Monolith Productions, the brains behind the groundbreaking Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor, is one of the casualties. It's a real shame to see such talent go to waste, especially when they've given us gaming gems like the Nemesis system. But alas, the gaming industry can be a cruel mistress, and cost-cutting measures are becoming all too common.
Meanwhile, over in the world of Microsoft, the highly anticipated Fable action RPG has been hit with a delay, pushing its release to 2026. But fear not, gamers, because Microsoft has unveiled some tantalizing new gameplay footage to whet our appetites. From sprawling cities to epic horseback riding and good old-fashioned combat, Fable promises to be a feast for the senses.
